WELCOME TO THE LUXELIFE

MORE THAN CAMPUS DINING - IT'S A LEGACY IN THE MAKING

The LUXELIFE was never just about food. It was created as a movement, a mindset, and a mission to enrich the lives of HBCU students in a way that leaves a lasting imprint—one that extends far beyond the dining hall.

We designed LUXELIFE to say, you’re worth going the extra mile. Because in a world that doesn’t always celebrate or see you, we do. And we wanted to build something that reflects the excellence, brilliance, and boundless potential of our students.

WHY WE CREATED LUXELIFE

Too often, campus dining is treated as routine. We saw an opportunity to make it transformational.

LUXELIFE was built to create a cultural and culinary space where HBCU students can:

  • Take up space boldly

  • Dare to dream—and do

  • Be seen, heard, and celebrated

  • Experience excellence every single day

Our goal? To give students more than just meals—we’re giving them momentum. We’re curating experiences that affirm their value, stretch their vision, and encourage them to lead lives marked by generational impact.

WARREN THOMPSON'S JOURNEY

6Arica_Booker_-_TH-HolidayParty2015-512.jpeg

From cutting grass at 14 to buying his family’s hog business at just 16, Warren Thompson has always paired hustle with vision. He used those early ventures to fund his education, earning degrees from Hampden-Sydney College and UVA’s Darden School of Business before beginning his career at Marriott. But his entrepreneurial drive couldn’t be contained—what started as a $100,000 personal investment in 1992 has grown into Thompson Hospitality, now the largest minority-owned food and facilities management company in the nation. Guided by a commitment to diversity, education, and giving back, Warren’s journey is proof that hard work and determination can turn small beginnings into extraordinary impact.

THE IMPACT

Living the LUXELIFE means embracing the responsibility of greatness.

It’s not just about what you eat—it’s about who you become. This program is an impartation, not just an experience. It teaches that living well, serving others, dreaming big, and showing up with purpose are all part of building a life that lasts.

Because a LUXELIFE is a privilege worth passing on.
